Definition of the word “osteopathy”
The word “osteopathy” itself consists of two Greek words: “osteon” – bone, “pathos” – harmony, path. Thus, the name can be translated as “harmony of the skeletal system”.
As a science, osteopathy studies the human body and is used to cure it.
As a philosophy, it is based on the ability of living tissue to self-heal.
